Here are the results! Thanks to the helpful staff in woodwork-I have decided to instead of having 2 thin menus-doouble up each layer (below) and have one sheet for the image and one for the type to make it easier to scroll through without having to turn it upside down and what not. A mock up is at the end.. This will be printed onto sticky back plastic to let the acrylic be the background.
I'm pleased with the outcome-it's just a relieve to have got it done!
I also did some coasters you can see sneaking into one of the pictures. These are just acrylic fillings.. like a slice of cheese. I still need to do the place mats but these will be similar to the coasters but have the detail of the menu.
